The R10 at the 2006 Monterey Sports Car Championships
The Audi R10 is a Le Mans Prototype (LMP) racecar which raced from 2006 to 2010. It was special as it used a diesel engine, something never done at le mans before. This was a massive engineering hurdle as diesel engines need to be much more robust than gasoline engines as diesel uses the compression of the engine itself to ignite the fuel. More robust components means more weight and that means lower revs. Despite that, the engine could rev to 6500 rpm, much less than the gasoline competition but extremely high for a diesel. The diesel had a few benefits, one of which was the incredible fuel efficiency, which was extremely important in the racing series it competed in, the World Endurance Championship. The other benefit was the monstrous torque this car produced, which allowed it to pull away from corners incredibly well in almost any gear.
Essential Info.
The Audi R10 used a 6 liter twin turbo diesel powered v12 that produced 650 horsepower and 1100 newton-meters of torque. It weighed 925 kilograms. The R10 currently holds the world record for the most amount of laps in the 24 Hours of Le Man race. Due to its torque curve, it only had a 5 speed gearbox.

A Mercedes G wagon W463
The Mercedes G wagon was first made in 1979, created as a military vehicle for the shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Many armies use the G wagon to this day, mostly in europe. The G wagon was offered in many body configurations, including convertible and station wagon. The G wagon was later offered in civilian form. Production ended in 1991 as the w460 was replaced by the w461 and w463.
The W461 is an upgraded version of the W460, still using the same platform and most parts. mostly sold to the military. This model was also offered to civilians as a stripped-down and simpler W463. Production ended in 2022.
The W463 is a luxurious version of the G wagon, sold as the G class, It had leather seats, better better-decorated interior, and more powerful engines. There were many variants of this specific model, including a powered convertible model, an AMG model called the G65 AMG, which had a 6.5-liter v12 and had a glitch in the computer that allowed the driver to drive at ridiculous speeds backwards. Another model was the AMG 6x6, a 6-wheeled model, originally developed for the Australian army but sold as a limited civilian model. It had the same V12 as the G65 AMG.
Essential Info.
Since the G wagon was originally developed as a military vehicle, this car had many features that aren't on normal civilian cars, including 3 differential lockers. A differential's job is to allow different rotational speeds to be split between 2 shafts, which is needed as during normal turning. A locker locks the rotation and stops one wheel from spinning freely. Another feature is the low-speed mode, which is activated by a gearbox inside the transfer case. It increases the engine torque reaching the wheels. The G wagon had many engines, from 4 cylinders to V12, ranging from naturally aspirated to turbocharged.

In 2019, the G-Wagon was truly updated for the first time in 50 years since its production. This model is officially still the W463, but all but 5 parts remained the same. The W463a is slightly longer, taller, and bigger, and it has a new independent suspension, which is in contrast to the solid axles used in all models before. It also had an updated interior and a more modern feel to it. It also had smaller door gaps and no longer had random gaps between the body and bumper. It is still a G wagon-looking vehicle, albeit slightly more rounded.
The W464 is the update to the W461, it still has solid axles on all 4 wheels and doesn't have any luxurious interiors, but it is a new model different from the W461.
The W465 is a revised W463a, it has an electric version and also does not have a proper full-sized spare tire anymore.
Essential Info.
The W463a afterwards models are the first true new models in 50 years of the G wagons history, and are only offered in 5 door models, presumably due to the fact that 2 door suvs, (other than the Suzuki Jimny) sell terribly, and

A Koenigsegg Regera
The koenigsegg regera is a hybrid-electric hypercar made by swedish brand koenigsegg. This car started production in 2016. The first concepts for this car were born when Koenigsegg’s founder and CEO, Christian Koenigsegg, bought a Tesla Model S and was impressed with the instant torque and acceleration from the electric drivetrain. The regera has an extremely unique drivetrain setup, The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is connected to the rear wheels with a hydraulic direct drive system that connects the engine to the output shaft. Under 30mph, the direct drive allows slip between the engine and output shaft, and the car is driven by the 2 electric motors mounted on the 2 rear wheels. Above that, the direct drive locks the engine to the output shaft. This direct drive can also simulate the feel of a traditional transmission. Another feature was the centerlock carbon fiber wheels, normally a car has 4-6 bolts or nuts holding the wheel on, but this car used a center locking wheel nut.
Essential Info.
The regera has 3 electric motors helping a 4 liter twin turbo v8 engine that produces 1757 horsepower altogether. It is also a convertible, the roof is removable and can be put in the front trunk of the car. Despite these novel features and technologies, the regera held the 0-400-0 km/h world record at 28.81 seconds, until koenigseggs own jesko beat it with a time of 27.83 seconds.

The Utopia while being driven
The Pagani Utopia is the third model for pagani at a price of 2.19 million USD. The Utopia is a mid-engine sports car produced by the Italian manufacturer Pagani. It was developed under the codename C10, and it was presented in Teatro Lirico, Milan on September 12, 2022, and manufactured in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy. The C10 superseded the C8 (Zonda) and C9 (Huayra) with more power and a manual gearbox option. During the six years of production, Pagani utilized eight complete prototypes. Three of which were used for engine testing. Which lasted for two years. The Utopia’s forged aluminum double wishbone suspension was based on experience gathered from the Huayra R’s. The Pagani Utopia uses the 5.980 L (364.9 Cu in) Mercedes AMG M158 Twin Turbo V12 engine. With a power output of 864 PS (635 kW; 852 hp), and a 7-speed Xtrac automated manual transmission. The body of the Utopia uses a 2-door Berlintta, and a butterfly door with a layout of mid-rear engine and rear wheel drive. The dimensions for the utopia are 4,597 mm (181.0 in) (Length), 2,037 mm (80.2 in) (Width), and 1,169 mm (46.0 in) (Height). The wheelbase is 2,794 mm (110.0 in), and the curb weight is 1,280 kg (2,822 lb) (dry).

The Pagani Utopia Roaders was Introduced on July 30 2024. It had a pretty different design from the normal Utopia. Such as the Roadster having an all carbon fiber body, being a convertible with no weather protection meaning that if it's raining the inside will be wet. Another major difference is its price being 3.4m USD. It also has a removable carbon fiber hardtop and a soft. Its top speed is 217 mph (349.2 kph) ( A sad thing is that the Roadster only has 130 units made, and final.
